review 1: Even though she was named for Sherlock Holmes, Sherry Holmes Baldwin is not an detective. review 2: I actually ended up reading this one, the first one, after reading the rest of the series. Although, it seemed vaguely familiar, so I'm thinking maybe I did read it a long, long time ago. Anyway, I think the series gets stronger as it goes. So if you like this, but aren'... moret too sold on it, give the next one a shot. The nice thing about these is that while they're connected, they're stand-alone mysteries and I read them totally out of order and it was fine! less
