I So Don't Do...

review 1: I do not give one stars out very often, but this is quite possible the worst book I have ever read. It starts out on some ridiculous notion that this makeup has been tampered with and has caused some poor teenage girls skin complications. Before I read any further, I had to ask myself, how in the world did these girls think it was a good idea to slather (and I do mean slather) their faces with unfamiliar product. I mean, sure it's an all natural brand, but those makeups can still cause girls skin to break out. Well whatever. I guess they just didn't think. So now, of course, the contaminated makeup turns out to only be a toe into a "huge" conspiracy, all while every sign points to one girl. All while this mystery is playing out, their is some bizarre thing about the main c... moreharacter contacting her mother in the spiritual world, which she to by, I kid you not, wrapping herself in tin foil and busting through the employees room in a dairy queen (I am starting to think that dairy queen was a euphemism for LSD or something like that). As the search for this makeup ruiner goes on, more and more bad things start to happen, including hair spray that literally makes your hair fall out...You should be asking yourself why they didn't install cameras or a recording device to see who was handling the makeup, and you have every right to be, because it never explains. These girls aren't qualified enough to run a mud pie stand, let alone a makeup counter.So , the story concludes with a totally predictable ending, my very favorite way to wrap up a totally predictable book. I so don't do this book.
review 2: I loved this book, to the highest power. I'm starting with makeup, so some of the things it says in the book inspired me. The Janes didn't, because I won't be getting obsessed with it. I WILL get good grades and into a good college. I love how Sherry solved the mystery, and I learned some pretty nice things in this book, like how when you get glochids in your skin you put glue on your hand, and once it dries, you peel it off and it gets all the glochids out, it doesn't even hurt. I loved this book. I rate it 5 stars, and P.S ( YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHO THE CRIMINAL IS!!! ) Five stars, ***** . -Signing off, Emma XoXo... less
