review 1: This collection of the Mire Trilogy was a magical, mysterious, and beautifully written and illustrated bind up. Becky Cloonan was how I discovered graphic novels as a genre which I can enjoy usually more than traditional books now.The Storyline was very cryptic, and not completely simple to understand in full, which only added to that mysterious nature, reflected perfectly by Cloonan's art. Now one of my favourites, not only because of the contents but the look of this gorgeous bind up, I would recommend this trilogy to anyone! READ T!!

... moreoked really great. I wasn't disappointed. The book consists of three separate short stories. All set in a medieval setting with magic and monsters. The fantasy element is still quite light though and adds a nice spooky element to very human stories. Definitely recommended. less
