review 1: I read ALOT of post apocalyptic books and love doing so. The thing is though, by their very nature they are dark. I needed a pick -me -up, something light and funny. Something like Douglas Adams meets Terry Pratchett meets The Road Warrior. Enter "Nomadic Warriors " This is a really really fun and funny read. It is post apocalyptic so I can stay in the genre but not feel down about it. I enjoyed the characters and cheered for Jerry, the under rated hero. The action was amazing and the zingers and wit kept me smiling. Just a really fun read that I would recommend to anybody who likes a good story AND likes to smile. Good stuff here.
review 2: PANW is a fun, light read. Set in the U.S. seven years after nuclear and biochemical war has wiped out most of
... morethe Earth's population, it's a story of adventure, action, romance, and super smart bears.Benjamin Wallace pulls out all the stops as he skewers every stereotype he can get his hands on, and mocks his own characters. At $3.50, it's cheaper than the venti mocha frappuccino (with whip) you'll sip while reading it. less
