review 1: I liked the beginning, it really piqued my interest, but by the middle I was starting to get bored. Even the love scenes were a bit boring. I can deal with a few boring moments right before a good ending, but that didn't happen with this book. I thought there would be more conflict when the big secret was revealed. Instead it was rushed, and over before anything really happened. I also found out that this author has a whole series for this family. Sadly, I would rather read a summary or cliff notes version rather than reading another five hundred pages and be disappointed.This was a free book, I believe the rest of the mini-series is $0.99.
review 2: This has been my first read for this author and I've got to say...I enjoyed her. For my fellow book gossipers ou... moret there..I couldn't find any misspelled words. However, there were a few lines that did not flow as well as they could have, due to missing words. BUT...Bernadette showed fantastic story development. I was left anticipating the next story and after reading the first chapter...I know that I won't be disappointed. Now, if you're looking for me to give you spoilers..you won't find them here. I don't do spoilers!! It's my opinion, that each readers should experience the story for themselves. SO READ THE BOOK!! =) Bernadette wrote a great story and beginning to a series that will have you falling for the characters hook, line and sinker. She wrote in such a way that I felt their hesitation, their joy and their pain. Great job Bernadette!! I look forward to Carlos and Madeline's story....even though the book costs $4.99. Which I usually DO NOT spend on my books....so to all my book gossipers out there....for me to be willing to spend the money...then you know it's worth reading! Truly though, this is a story that needs experiencing. HAPPY READING EVERYONE!! =) less
