review 1: I really enjoyed this book. I liked how the author gave us two different perspectives from Rosie and Skate throughout the entire book. This made me want to keep reading to see what was happening in Rosie or Skate's life. At first, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy the book because there was a lot going on at one time. But once I got more into it, I really enjoyed knowing about all the different things that were occurring. The book ended in a really good way, and I wish I could find out what happens next! I would recommend this book to a friend, and to anyone who enjoys learning about how people are dealing with struggles in their lives.
review 2: I thought this book was okay. I felt like it was not specific enough and needed more detail. This book was also very con
... morefusing. It was about two sisters named Rosie and Skate who have a dad that is a drunk. He once stole about one hundred cough syrups and drank them just to get high. He got out of rehab the day before. The book is mainly about how their parents are divorced and they are trying to fix the marriage.I feel that it is a stereotypical book. You can pretty much predict what is going to happen next. less
