review 2: I wanted to really like this book but there was way too much going on - I think the premise of the main character not fitting in with her poli... moretician father's picture perfect family would have been a great story line but it veered off into trying to cover way too many hot button issues like domestic violence, rape, suicide and really, really bad parenting - too many terrible things weighed down what was a promising initial storyline. less
