review 1: A Real Basket Case is actually the second book that I have read by this author and in this series, and I have to say that I did really enjoy this one as much as I did the other one. However this book's story is not exactly what I expected from a cozy with the murder victim is killed in the heroine's bedroom with her husband as murder suspect number one, but the story definitely works and grabs the reader's attention. Claire is well developed in the book, and I liked seeing how she pulled it together to try and clear her husband's name. I also liked the secondary characters in the book like Deb and Roger who really added to the story. The book is full of many twists and turns keeping the reader guessing until the end. Overall A Real Basket Case is a great read that I wo... moreuld definitely recommend.
review 2: A Real Basket Case By Beth Groundwater is the first book in A Claire Hanover Mystery series and a fun, quick read. Gift basket designer, Claire, joins a gym class and to cheer her up she is gifted a private massage at her home. Things quickly go wrong when her masseur Enrique is shot during the session and Claire's husband is arrested for the murder. It is up to Claire to clear her husband and find the real killer. A very fast paced and quick book to read with a lot of funny and entertaining situations. I definitely want to read more of the series. Very easy solve although the entertainment makes up for the lack of mystery. less

For middle aged women who need to get their grooves back, I couldn't finish this one.

Light read. Not too surprising of an ending.
