review 1: Four short stories woven around the garden. I would not call this book hard to read or thought provokingly deep; it was however about four Amish families and friends surrounding themselves with nature and God's earth. They were not sad and all of them ended on the upside. They will leave you knowing more about herbs, vegetables and anything else you want to see thrive including love and kindness amongst our neighbors in life. Pick up this read full of good wholesome Amish warmth and you will be all the more grateful you did.
review 2: I absolutely loved this book, but what's not to love? The book is a compilation of 4 novellas, written by four authors, whose works include Amish fiction, where each novella centers around the theme of gardening. I find it difficu
... morelt to write about each one without giving too much away, so let me just say this: Beth Wiseman, Kathy Fuller, Tricia Goyer, and Vannetta Chapman have each written a lovely novella that includes romance, humor, and faith wrapped into a very touching and sweet story. Put the four stories together in a book entitled An Amish Garden, and you have a home run. less
