According to Humphrey
review 1: I liked Humphrey because he is a cute and sweet little hamster. Helpful Holly took him home and she was making gifts for her classmates. Miss Brisbane said not to because it would be too much work. Miss Brisbane asked her to build something for the whole class. She built a gingerbread house. She brought it to school and everyone asked what it was. She opened the bag and it was a cool gingerbread house and then Miss Brisbane said not to lean on the table. Small Paul leaned on the table and it fell and broke. Then Helpful Holly was crying and the class fixed it and she was happy. Humphrey squeaked to help her because he helped people solve problems.
review 2: A solid installment in the Humphrey series! It's winter, and Mrs. Brisbane's class will be part
... moreicipating in the school-wide Winter Wonderland production. As usual, Humphrey plays a role in helping a few classmates sort out some issues. Valuable lessons are learned, and everybody has some fun. There's nothing objectionable in this book, and it's a very pleasant and entertaining read. But, there's also not much to make it particularly memorable, or a stand-out in the series, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. less
