review 1: While the background information on the political and racial climate in early 1960's Dallas is interesting and somewhat germane, I had problems with this book. First of all, the authors merely paraphrase William Manchester's Death of a President in the description of JFK's activities during the Texas trip. Secondly, assumptions that parrot the highly-discredited Warren Commission pepper the narrative in regard to Oswald and Ruby. I was disappointed overall beyond the fore mentioned background reporting.
