review 1: More like 3.5 stars. I liked this book. It was funny, sassy, light, sweet and dirty. I never quite felt a deep emotional connection, but it was entertaining and worth the read. So Mac, I like her but sometimes she annoys me. Loved her independence, her sexual freedom, her personality. But she gets so stuck on titles and sticking to her vow to not get involved emotionally with a man again that it annoys me when she can’t just act like a grown up and talk things through.Despite what you may think about her lifestyle choices, she is seriously lucky with the men she has in her life. They are all great, respectful guys who are happy with Mac, and honestly want the best for her. I kinda fell for them all. Her relationship with her best friend and roommate Kate is aweso... moreme too. The entire support cast of characters is integral in the success of this story. I will read Book2 of the series. I hope that Kate's story goes in the direction that is suggested.
review 2: I would have given this 5 stars if Mac didn't keep pushing Daniel away and having freak outs. The synopsis pretty much describes the book. I really enjoyed it. It was a fun easy romantic read. I loved Daniel, he was genuinely a nice guy who just wanted to love her. I recommend this book for sure there really wasn't anything bad about it. I just wish there was more of a conclusion to their story even though we're going to get some more in the next book with Kate I just felt like I wanted them to finish in their own book. less
