review 1: I really am enjoying the story of Elise and Braxton. I can't stand that someone is out to hurt Elise!! I have an idea of who it may be but I may be wrong! Elise has already been through so much but she has a lot more trials and tribulations ahead of her...What a damn cliffhanger at the end!!! OMG!!! Thank goodness I waited to read these until the next book came out!!3.75 stars on this one!Off to read the next!!
review 2: This book got 4 stars for one reason and one reason only, the dreaded cliffhanger!!! I'm not one for cliffhangers in books, luckily I didn't read this one until the next was already released so I can step right back into the story after this review!! There's nothing worse than a great cliffhanger with another 4 months until the next book.Sto... morery is told from both POV which I enjoy.Elle is a completely broken girl, or shattered really broken seems to mild a word for her situation. After coming home from camp to find that her mother, father and sister had been murdered she's sent to be raised by her "uncle" Henry and aunt Sylvia. Not the worst arrangement but not the best either.Elle has closed herself off from everything, life, friends, personal relationships, she hasn't been the same since her family's murder, is now off to college.Brax, hot, slightly older new college student. He's been sent to watch over her based on a possible threat to her life. But she can't know why he's there.Her "uncle" Harry owns 40% of her dads company, Elle the other 60% and Harry wants it.Is Harry the threat to her or is it someone else?Brax heals Elle. He's exactly what she needs and shes the love he never knew he could feel.After 8 months together Brax is pulled off the case, disappearing into the night with no explanation. Elle once again is lost, she doesn't understand why he left. And cliffhanger. Time for the next book to see where this goes! less
