review 1: You must read part 1 in order to understand what's happening in part 2.Nothing is all that different from the first book, but at least things get wrapped up. The only things I liked about these books was the cover and the concept. The execution just didn't work for me. I hated the writing style and while I love lots of steamy sex, at some point I just got bored with it.Elle finds out the truth of who Brax really is and we find out that everyone we've ever met or heard about in this book are connected in some way. Poor Elle is shot, kidnapped, held hostage, lied to, betrayed and finds out that every thing she thought about her father wasn't exactly the way she thought. Brax and Shay are perhaps the worst security guys EVER.There's an HEA, albeit conventi... moreonal.
review 2: Such a wonderful story. The books picks right up with Brax racing to get back to Elle. Shay of course is there with her being wonderful. Brax has such a deep love for Elle. Gibbs is soon discovered to be bad. You get to meet Brax's brother Devon who is a sweetheart and has Brax's back. Lots of twists and turns. Several WTH moments, although everything does work out in the end and we get our HEA for this sweet couple. Loved all of the main characters, Brax, Elle, Devon and sweet Shay. You will cry in this book and you will smile, you will be angered and you will feel relief. A number of emotions will pull you through to the end, and there's a great epilogue waiting for you.Wonderful story that I am so glad I discovered and read. A Novella will be out in February giving us an insight into Shay's past. I of course will read it as well. less
