review 1: I think that Brenda Pandos has channeled the mesmerizing qualities of the merpeople as I could not stop reading this book! I devoured it in the course of less than a day and have just purchased the Kindle version of "Evergreen." I just have to know what happens next! This was my first time reading any type of mermaid fiction so I wasn't sure what I would think but the story was exciting and flowed very smoothly. The first person writing style that alternated between the two main characters was unique--I wasn't sure about it at first but after a few chapters...I liked it.These characters are very lovable and you come to have a concern for them and their well being. I feel vested in their futures and enamored by Natatoria, their merworld, and the way that they interact betwee... moren their own world and the human world. The dialogue of the characters is fun to read and had me hanging onto every word of each conversation. I can't wait to read more!Fun, serious, adventurous, and fantastical!
review 2: I just love a good mermaid tale. I really liked Everblue it was a great read. I like how it switched in between Fin and Ash. Ash didn't know her best friend and her brother Fin were mer people. She always liked Fin and when they were suddenly called away she was worried about them when they didn't come back or call. She tries dating another guy and Fin tries to fall in live with another mermaid. Neither one is happy with where they are and when Ash has an accident and Fin saves her and kisses her their souls intertwine and they find they can't live without each other. The kingdom of Natoria wants to keep Fin and his sister in their world. What will happen with Fin and Ash? Looks like I will be reading book 2 less
