Unexpected Daddy (2012)

review 1: Remembered I read this a long time ago when I saw Phanney's review so I read it again. In general I liked this though it was too short and didn't have enough depth into the characters lives. I also felt it left a lot of loose ends. A bit more length and a little fleshing out and it would be a good story.
review 2: Weak little story.The premise as such is nothing new (which I don’t mind), but the execution simply falls flat on all counts.For one thing, there’s a surprising lack of, well, shock and grief in that first chapter when Joey is told the news. Altogether the story feels very short. What emotions are provided center around sex – in stark contradiction to the baby plot.No happy fuzzy feelings for me. I guess I need more… more of everything.
