review 1: Saga continues to be the best book available on the stands with another outstanding volume. Volume four tackles gender roles, fatherhood, addiction and infidelity, all to the beat of an ever expanding space-epic. Time passes, Hazel ages, and the world continues to grow in new and interesting spaces. The narrative remains strong, expertly molded by the undeniable synergy of Vaughan's words and Staples' art. Saga sets the bar for contemporary comics, and continues that trend with each new issue.
review 2: To be honest, I didn't like this volume as much. I mean I get what was going on and how there had to be a fair amount of tie-ins with the plot, but it jumped around too much. I couldn't focus on one storyline because every third page it jumped to another charact... moreer. Again I understand WHY this had to be done, but it took away some of the desirable traits I have come to enjoy from this series. Still damn good though! less
