review 1: "If the body were an orchestra, the minerals would be its conductor."A marvelous book for a so-so person who are not interested into science. Yes, me. Nevertheless, I enjoyed so much every page, illustration, and explanation from the author. Now, I know that the average human is made up from approximately 65% of oxygen, 18% of carbon, and 10% of hydrogen. For a beginner one, reading this book is so much fun compared to the relevant subjects that I got in the classroom :p
review 2: I found the book easy to read, the art style was wonderful and elaborate and it truly gave all the elements their own personality and appeal. Its section for what elements food contains needs a special mentioning. It truly gave me a bigger understanding what I am eating and what my bo

The only negative thing about the book was there wasn't too much information about the newest elements and some didn't have any information at all besides their atomic number. Besides that this is a great read to anyone who is interested in chemistry be it a kid or a professional. I'd recommend it to anyone even if they have no knowledge of chemistry. Absolutely a wonderful book! less
