An Accidental Adventure

review 1: About halfway through I realized that I didn't like the narrator- often he made the kids sound shrill when I don't think that was the author's intent. I especially didn't like Celia, and I think it was his fault. Anyway, that aside, the book was fun. There was some humor and tons of action, and an ending that leaves you wanting to read the next book to find out what will come next. I may go on with the series, but if I do I will read it, not listen to it.
review 2: I picked up this book for my son and read it. Twins whose parents are explorers and they want nothing to with any of the adventure stuff. They would much rather sit in front of the TV and watch any programming available. Of course they end up an adventure traveling to Tibet and have to save their ... morefather and on and on. It is almost fun for them. I enjoyed this book, so far it is a trilogy. Good fun! less
