review 1: While I did not like this as much as I enjoyed How to Be a Girl, it was still a good read. I found it fun to read, if a bit preachy at times (really, I have already figured out the bits about high heels and handbags). What shined for me were the personal stories of her sister's dislike of weddings (YES!) and Moran's personal philosophies on a great many other topics. I could care less about the celebrity stuff. I heard the call of the strident feminist and answered it with a whoot whoot. We are out here, girl. We hear you.
review 2: This book was hilarious and entertaining, especially listening to the audiobook with the author reading. Even my husband said, "What the f**k are you listening to???" and joined in here and there to chuckle along. Some of the issu
... morees Moran tackled were handled very gracefully, like abortion, weddings, or whether or not to have kids. Even her diatribe about public hair was pretty good, if I bit over the top. Other topics just made me go "huh?", like bras, body image, and fashion. Overall though I was greatly entertained, even though this won't go on my shelf of great literature. less

Self-indulgent. It could have been, and I was hoping for, so much more.
