review 1: the book had great potential but failed miserably ! jason behaved like a retarded kid! he was in instant lust wid olivia without realising this was his wife! oh really!? what a cosy coincidence! he had to fall madly in lust wid his own wife! is lust enough for him to want her as wife!? this is illogical. it was so boring; the book consisted mainly of parties they attended and where they clashed wid each other. she was supposedly angry wid him and had no intention of staying married. she never really showed it, just words! she was mad for a handsome face. how pathetic! a man who wud have discarded her like a wrong shoe, if he had not wanted sex wid her !
review 2: I found this to be an enjoyable regency with two interesting and diverse characters. The plot was u... moreniquely creative and I found the male protagonist's wooing of his wife to be humorous. Olivia, the female protagonist, was steadfast in her desire to escape from a typical ton marriage and therefore her husband has his work cut out for him in convincing her that he means theirs to be different. He finds that his past comes back to haunt him and makes Olivia reluctant to believe he is sincere. Seeing their relationship from both perspectives was enjoyable and I found I like them both. A recommended light-hearted read. less
