review 1: Loved the notion for the book. Visiting Shiloh at age 18 and 36yo was interesting and I'm not sure which one I liked visiting with more. Shiloh as a adult was amusing. I loved his dorky moments. The younger Shiloh was a bit more confident and, I felt, assertive after his suicide attempt. I liked that he found hope (not the way he had to do it though...). Travis was a sweetie. I loved the chemistry and banter with Shiloh during the first half of the story.
review 2: I loved the concept of this novella--an eighteen-year-old tries to commit suicide because he's depressed that he is gay and has been bullied. As he's close to death he gets a vision of his potential life in the future with his soul mate. It's sort of "It's a Wonderful Life" meets the "It Gets Better"
... more campaign. It was a good concept, good writing, and fun characters. An excellent start to Dreamspinner's 2013 advent. less
