review 1: "Confession" was a great thriller, that I could not put down. Confession was the first novel by Carey Baldwin that I have read, and I am beyond pleased with her writing style. If language and sexual content does not bother you, then this book would be a great read for you. The plot of this novel was brilliant. As a reader, you have the pieces the puzzle early on in the book. You know who the real killer is, but the other characters obviously don't know what you, the reader, knows. Throughout the book, Faith and Luke put the pieces to the puzzle together, but not without getting into some sticky situations first. As the end of the book nears, things take an interesting turn. I am thrilled I got to read this great novel. Hopefully you can get your hands Confession and experi... moreence the thrill ride for yourself.
review 2: Carey Baldwin writes a good story. Faith Clancey is a brand new physiacitrist to Santa Fe. She has no patients. She hands out brochures to doctor offices to patients they are referring to her. Her one new patient begins to confess about the people that he has killed. She dials 911 to turn him into the police as she is required while he is in the office taunting her. What a trip! Then she begins to doubt herself...did she have the right man? Of her patients, both men are very ill and telling her about their childhood at the Catolic childrens home. Her house is broken into and she realizes that one of her patients is redoing the murders from In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. This is a muder/romance and done very well. Faith doesn't know what to believe or where she's safe. less
