review 1: This is the fourth book in the World of Ascension series and there’s still a lot of explaining about Second Earth, the Warriors of the Blood and the breh-hedden. By now I really don’t need an introduction to all of this. I really liked the warrior Jean-Pierre. He’s compassionated, strong and thoughtful. Fiona on the other hand annoyed me, I couldn’t connect with her. This book also seemed a bit slower than the previous books. I was very excited about getting to know more about the Warrior of the Blood’s leader Thorne, but the last chapters didn’t make me very excited about his story. The next book his going to be his book, I hope Caris Roane is going to surprise me and I end up really liking it.
review 2: What can I say about this book except when i... mores there going to be another?? Oh, wait, "Obsidian Flame" is already out but I've already read that one too!! These guys are just too hot! Just the right combination of bad boy and great man! All I can think is what in the WORLD are the women in this series thinking when they try to resist the breh-hedden???!!! If you ladies don't want them, just send them my way. I'll be happy to oblige!!LOVE IT! CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE!! less
