review 1: Books written in the 3rd person are really hard for me to read. They’re just not my cup of tea when it comes to reading a book. It always feels like I’m being told what the events are that are being unfolded in the book instead of the events just unfolding by the characters. It’s just really hard to get into.That was my struggle in this book. It took me a while to get into this book. I had to look past the whole third person dialogue and just Focus on the story itself. It was pretty interesting.Charlie and Kate are best friends moving into a new apt together. Kate had a rough couple of years. Grieving the loss of her first love David.She finally feels like she can start moving on with her life. Going back to school…meeting new people.Both Charlie and Kate find a ap... moreartment that they love. Roger the apartment manger was right away happy to rent to them.Right away I felt Roger was the creepy landlord. A red flag would have been up with me every time I would come home and he would be waiting by his door! He came off so strong.He differently had a few screws loose.Neil… Kate’s love interest…Neil comes off really strong to me. He’s very forward and commanding. I could not stand how he was always dismissing everyone & he was a little pushy. When He asked Kate to his place for dinner… He asked her what time she gets off of work… He then tells her that he expected her to be at his place at a certain time. That would be a turn off for me. And he’s always telling her that he never loses & he always gets what he wants.He came off a little pushy to me.It’s only been a week… 2 tops..& Neil is sooo in love with Kate. And she loves him too.I just wasn’t feeling the love so fast.Roger became more and more crazy towards the end of the book.This book leaves off in a cliffhanger. I’m just glad all the books in this series are out. So I can. Just jump right in to the next book.*Book provided by author for an honest review*-Michelle
review 2: This is a book I won in a giveaway by the author and finally got a chance to read it. It was suspenseful, amazing, sexy, fun, edge of your see book. You have no idea the twists and turns it takes, you see kate as a troubled woman trying to put her life back together the three men that want her. It was great to see her attraction and connection to neil, it was fast, furious and omg the sex scenes are hot!!! Once you see roger's intentions you will get creeped out, and want to get as far away from him as you can. I look forward to reading the next books in the series. less
