review 1: I was so anxious to see how Lynne would deal with Brier and Jackie's relationship. Many authors wouldn't be brave enough to allow a character with Brier's challenges. I love the way she dealt with his setbacks and improvements. I also thought she made some interesting decisions about what Jackie's character experiences. I don't want to give anything away, but I do think that Lynne should have shown us a bit more of Jackie's struggle. It just seemed a bit too easy at times. Now, I can't wait for Seb's story! One complaint that I do have is that the publisher listed this book as a novel. It costs $5.08, and it was only 91 pages long! If it hadn't been part of a series and about two characters whom I love, that price might have convinced me not to purchas... moree it.
