review 1: Maybe 1.5. Okay, I tried this book because a lot of you seem to like her books, but I didn't like this one at all. I don't mind may/december romances, but I don't know, this one just seemed corny and contrived and the whole ogling in the elevator just didn't do it for me. Plus I thought they took things a little fast. I'm still willing to try another one of her books though.Hope you all still like me, :)
review 2: Carol Lynne is one of my dirty little secrets. I really don't think she gets all of the credit she deserves sometimes. Sure she doesn't have the intensity of most books I enjoy reading... BUT, sometimes I just want to read a lighter-hearted story, with likable characters and a simple plotline. Her characters are always likeable and sexy and I really... more enjoy reading her books.Austin Green hasn't been home in eleven years. When he was invited to attend his little sister's wedding (she has always kept in contact with him...irregardless of their father's wishes) he is determined to face the possible wrath of his father's low opinion of him.Deciding to keep his head up, he is on his way to the rehearsal dinner when he sees a sexy older man waiting my the elevator. Immediately attracted to him, Austin strikes up a conversation, and soon realizes that the sexy man is his soon to be brother in law's father. When they establish that they are both availale and very attracted to one another, the sparks fly off the pages. Tony Rumalati can't believe his good fortune. Meeting Austin is like a dream come true. He is everything Tony has ever wanted in partner. Sexy, smart and has a wicked sense of humor that Tony is very attracted to. As a successful man himself, Tony has everything he has ever wanted, but a partner that will share his life with him. It is definately love at first sight for Austin and Tony. I loved the May/December storylines...it is definately one of my favorites. Tony immediately takes Austin under his wing, and looks out for his feelings and well-being throughout the novel. I liked how they took up for one another, weren't ashamed for their budding relationship and fit together like two peas in a pod.Austin and Tony have their problems they must face before they can start their life together. Will they be able to overcome prejudice and some self doubts to find a life-long with each other?If you are offended by explicit language and HOT Male/Male Sex this book is not for you. less
