review 1: Wow!!! What an amazing story!!! I was very enthralled by the story line being very relatable! Three friends with marriage problems choosing different courses. It made you think that one decision can literally destroy your whole life or make life better. There's just so much to say about marriages, friendships, and parenting! It's a must read! And the story gets very emotional and you feel for the characters even Leigh....(what a bitch)!!! And jeez I wished the couples communicated! I wanted to reach thru my kindle and slap them and just say talk to each other already!!! But I gues that's how the story keeps it real! But anyway it's a must read!!! You'll cry and laugh!! Just whatever you do read until the very end, especially read until the very last page!!! One more thing-... more- It is in English narritve .. It took me a couple chapters to get a hang of all the English terminology but after that it just flowed flawlessly.
review 2: I'm very thankful to have found Carol Mason's debut novel, The Secrets of Married Women, because now I can add another author to my automatic buy list. This story was compelling, well written, and full of suspense, humor, and even some heartache. I instantly liked the main character, Jill, and could easily relate to her and her struggles with her relationships as she navigates the complexities of friendship, love, family, desire and regret. I loved how honest the narrative was, often revealing painful secrets with the reader, the kind that you only share with your closest confidants. Carol Mason crafts a wonderfully entertaining novel, expertly weaving comedy in with the tragedy with such authenticity you almost believe you're listening to your best friend spill all the juicy, sordid details of the life you never expected her to be leading behind that perfect white picket fence. This book will have you on the edge of your seat one minute and cackling with laughter the next. Such a great read! less

This was an easy read. Not very well written but a nice book to not have to think too hard about.

Entertaining, well written and free on kindle. Not quite as fluffy as expected.
