review 1: Beautiful and sad, yet full of hope. It shows how horrible people can be to each other without even meaning to be. I think this is a book that should be required reading in high schools everywhere--despite the fact that some bigoted people would hate it. I won't spoil anything about the story, but I will tell you I HATED the second half. Not because of the writing or anything i hated the way it had to be. That is actually a sign of a good book, not a bad one. I also wish the ending had been a bit more substantial. I can't say I loved this book, because it is not the kind of book that is loved. It is a great book. If you have teens, make them read it. Even if the overt theme is something that makes you uncomfortable, the main message is important. The big question it asks i... mores this...how much trouble can one little omission cause? How much can a few little lies hurt someone?
review 2: A Kiss in the Dark was a beautiful book. It starts off with a massive twist in the storyline and from then on you are on the edge of your seat. As of halfway through, the narrator changes from Alex to Kate. From then on I found it hard to decide who's side to be on because both of the characters make horrific decisions. The story is very deep because it includes the characters having to find themselves in a place that they don't know who they are. It is one of those books where you wish you could rip the characters out of the book, just to yell at them and tell them what to do and how badly they are handling the situation. This is the third Cat Clarke book that I have read and at the moment it is my favourite. less

Hmp. Tienes que darme algo más Cat, este no puede ser el final. Necesito un epílogo al menos(?.

I can't believe this book has such a high rating and glowing reviews - it was appallingly stupid.
