review 1: I have mixed feelings about this book. The first one in the series was quite good and this one felt lacking. I'm not really sure what it was lacking, but it felt like it was. There's not much action, perhaps. The story doesn't advance much because the vast majority of the story is the main character angsting and trying to deal with her feelings for both of the alphas in her life.There's a lot of tension, but it feels like very little happens. For a book with a page count of under 200, it shouldn't drag, but it does. Finding out more about the compound was neat, but I would have liked to be introduced to more of the wolves there. The 'twists' were interesting, if a but expected. All in all, this was an alright continuation of the story. I hope to see something with a bit mo... morere story in the next book.
review 2: This second book continued on from the first installment, some of the things written in these two books were thought provoking to say the least and I wondered about the abuses we are entertained by everyday. I enjoyed reading Prides story I only have 1 negative about it and that's the author was repetitive with her explanations it was almost like you were not expected to get it straight away she had to explain it 2 more times just to be sure.But still a good read. less
