review 1: The plot of Just Like Fate is that a girl named Caroline's grandma is sick and could die at any moment. She has the option one night to either stay by her grandmother's side or go to a party with her friends. This story alternates chapters telling each side of the story and what happens. I would most definitely recommend this book because it's great detailed and is very enjoyable to read. I enjoyed it a lot more than some people might because I could personally relate to it with what I wen through with my grandpa this summer.
review 2: It was almost like any teen romance story, with tons of guy drama and other stuff. To be honest though, the protagonist Caroline wasn't a good character in my opinion. I know she was going though a hard time because of the loss o... moref her grandmother, but that doesn't give her the right to basically cheat on her boyfriend for her long time crush. This was one of those stories where I didn't really connect with the main character, and I just don't agree with how she was portrayed. less
