review 1: Does this book make me a hardcore Twilight fan if I happen to own one? Guilty.I can say that I only had one reason for buying this and the reason was, how did they make the fight scene at the ballet studio? The scene where Edward smashes James on the floor. It strangely intrigued me so much when I saw it at the cinema. That's the only reason and the rest was just extras.I picked it up at the department store right before I went on a bus to my sister. Didn't read it, I fell asleep but I did read it afterwards. It was kind of a fun book. Nothing extra special. I happen to own the second one too, the guide one or whatever the name is.
review 2: I honestly thought this was an interesting book. Okay, it would've been cool to read the same thing about, say, 2001:A Sp
... moreace Odyessey, or even just the Hunger Games or the Social Network (okay, anything David Fincher, Stanley Kubrick or the Hunger Games), but I think Twilight was an interesting enough movie. It was cool to see how the director interperated the book to film and how a director goes about doing things. It was like the lite version of a director's notebook but considering the target audience it was never going to be technical. It wasn't groundbreaking (like the blurb claims to be) and neither was Catherine Hardwicke (actually, she was kind of the opposite) but an interesting look into how the Twilight movie was made and a behind the scenes/ on set handbook :-) less

I really enjoyed the Twilight series and will continue to watch the movies (no matter how off they are) for two reasons. 1. I just have to see a movie for a book that I have read. It betters the experiance. 2. I have to finish what I started. That being said, I also enjoy knowing how movies are made. Including special effects, wardrobe, etc. This book walked me through Cathrine's every move when she was making the original movie. I found it intriguring to see exactly what she thought of something and why certian decisions were made.
