review 1: I haven't read any other stories by Cathy McDavid, but I will certainly start lookin for them. This book was kind of different from my "usual" romances. I really liked that it took place around horses and the people that work with them and work around them. I enjoyed the story line about a rodeo roper/calf roping champion who has lost his edge and grudgingly takes his sister's advice and enrolls at Cowboy College. Here he meets the colleges owner, Adele Donnelly, along with her famous grandfather. The two "kids" seem to hit it off, can this be just what Adele needs?
review 2: I really liked this book a lot. Ty has to go to Cowboy College to refresh his rodeo skills after losing a scholarship. He meets Adele, the co-owner of Cowboy College, and they both fall ov... moreer over boots for each other. This was a very sweet read. I thought Ty and Adele had such chemistry together. They are the kind of couple who would be together forever. The only thing I didn't understand was why Pop, Adele's grandfather, attacks Ty. Pop knew Ty didn't know Adele was pregnant. So, why did he hit him? I wished the author had gone into more detail about that, like Pop's thoughts and feelings. Pop was on Ty's side one minute (because Adele hadn't told Ty) and then the next, he slugs him, TWICE. Regardless, A sweet summer read! Romance is in the air, and so is the HEAT! :) less
