review 1: A beautiful story of self-discovery, when your world crumbles and forces you to build a stronger and better one that teaches you more about your friends and yourself than you ever knew before, all whilst building friendships with the most eclectic bunch of people whose stories are far more interesting than they believe of themselves. Full of life lessons we eventually learn, and a story that sucks you in and doesn't let go until the very end.
review 2: "One Hundred Names" is an inspirational story about Kitty Logan, a journalist, who is at a low point in life after having committed a bad mistake. ... more can’t seem to figure out what those hundred people have that makes them worthy of appearing in a magazine… The story is simple, and so is the book. It is a really easy and funny read with a quite predictable moral. But the novel is not as cheesy as other books by Ahern, as the focus is not on romance, but on everyday people. And after having finished it, the reader may have a new view on their own life and the importance of what they are doing. less
