An Unfortunate Fairy Tale

review 1: If you put aside all the punctuational error that the author had made, this is a really good book. I love how the protagonist is linked to the Grimms and all the fairytales that are 'collected' by them. The end made me a bit sad for Mina because all that had happened between them was because of the manipulation of the Story and he seemed to be awoken from the trance after Mina completed the Red Riding Hood story,but, the ending was written pretty good that made me want to know what is bound to happen between Brody and Mina and it seems that Brody notices something about her even after he loses his memories about her saving his life in Babushka's Bakery and their short relationship. So, overall , I recommend this book to all that love to read about fairytales and romantic c... moreomedy
review 2: So I got this book for free and I was excited to read it. The plot sounded amazing and i was just plain excited. Needless to say I was disappointed. The writing was confusing and sloppy and I hated Mina and Brody. The characters I cared about the most were Nan and Jared and they were side characters. I did like the ending though. I just wanted mins to get over Brody and to kick him to the curb because he was whiny, clingy, and Kindof creepy and not in an attractive way. I enjoyed Jared's character so much more and wished he had been the main live interest instead. And Nan was a fun character. And honestly she was more fleshed out and interesting than Mina. The breakfast scene with Mina's little brother and Nan made me smile, honestly one of the best scenes in the book. It was an okay read and the fact that it was free gives it a better rating. less
