review 1: I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. The book is nice, but I have trouble dealing with overly naive female characters that get in love with the bad guy that treats them really bad and they still run after him, so it is tough for me to really review the book. "I see London" it is nicely written, it opens a wonderful world, abroad, so different from home for Maggie and gives her the opportunity to visit magic cities and meet very interesting people. I would recommend the book for the romantic hearts, especially those loving the macho, dark "he" who is a charming bad boy.
review 2: I was given this book for an honest review. This book .. Oh Man! I loved it. I had just finished a book that I didn't like, so this book really boosted my spirits. I also
... morefinished it within 24 hours. It is a page turner. You won't want to put it down. It is just overall a great read. I gave it 4.5 stars because of some grammatical errors and the format was weird. The page numbers and title were in between lines so I kept reading I See London randomly and it would throw me off. But this might be because of the review book format. Please, do not let it deter you!!So this a book about Maggie going to University in London and really discovering who she is outside of a small town. This is everything I want from a new adult book. Someone who we can see maturing throughout the story into the adult they will become. Not someone who is just immature the entire time. I loved it. She was such a strong character and I loved that she just slipped into her new personality she matured into. It wasn't just all of a sudden, but subtle and believable. She didn't let people walk all over her either and I just loved her as the main character. I enjoyed her interaction with Fleur and how their friendship grew. At first I thought this was going to be another cat fight of a story, but it grew into this friendship I think anyone would be jealous of. Then there is Samir .... Oh Samir ... I loved their banter back and forth. I loved the constant tension between them and I thoroughly enjoyed when they actually meet ... not really the first time. Their relationship is a constant back and forth, but not in an annoying way that you want to skip to get to the end. I feel like every moment was important to the story and their friendship wouldn't have been the same without it. I read each scene with a different emotion; either laughing, embarrassment, sadness .. I felt them all and I love a book that makes you feel what these characters are feeling. Finally let's not forget Hugh. He is older than Maggie and it definitely shows in the type of character he is. But I loved him and he added such a good twist to the story. He added intrigue and I enjoyed his relationship with Maggie. In the beginning of the book a scene plays out where Maggie is leaving a room after having sex with someone, but it doesn't say who. I don't want to give away anything so I won't say who ... but it is surprising. Hugh was an added bonus to the book, so we weren't solely focused on one love connection. There was so much mystery behind how this story would end and I wasn't disappointed. I do wish that the finale was a bit longer, but it was still good regardless. Overall, a fantastic book ... FANTASTIC!! It felt like a long book, and not in a bad way, but I kept getting nervous that I would look down and see that I was almost done and I was happy to see I had more to go. I didn't want it to end and I couldn't get enough. It does end a bit unresolved, but no worries because the second book is out now also. And it's only $2.50 and that is a good deal!! Also, Fleur is getting her own book and I can't wait to read that one too. So go buy the book, read it and love it, buy the second book, and be sad that it is over ... because you will be. It was so good. Have I mentioned that already? Oh well, I'll say it again ... So. Good!! less

2.5 stars. But it felt like a steamier rip-off of Anna and the French Kiss.
