review 1: I received the book from the author for review. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had just briefly glanced that it was a genre I enjoy. I enjoyed the book and Jessica is a great character that I look forward to following in the future. This was a fairly short read (91 pages) but Evans manages to develope the character of Jessica well and leave you with enough twist and turns in the story line to leave you guessing. Would reccomend to anyone who likes crime romance and will follow the story in the Jessica Booker series.
review 2: Fun, quick read with potential to be so much more is how I would rate it. It has action (of the kicking and punching and shooting variety), it has sex and it has a story but it could be so much more. There are many threads - her start
... more as a spy, her family, her relationships, his background, his hurt and heart, and so much more. But none of them are explored or tackled. Great if you want a quick fun read but not if you look for a little more in your reading. less

Fun, quick read with just the right mix of sex and danger. Charlie Evans is one to watch.

This book had more twists and turns than a mountain road. It was a fun, quick read.
