review 1: I believe I am as confused as some of the others that have read this book. I have no idea why I liked this book. I really hated Nicholas but he grew on me by the end. I did not like Eva either for awhile for giving in so easily in the beginning and then turning all stubborn at the the end. There were many things that I did not like but yet i could not put the book down. I am looking forward to seeing what the author is going to throw at us next.

The heroine, who is obsessive about respectability and being proper, throws her clothes off and hops into bed with the hero at the first opportunity. There's no build up of tension, no establishing of motives that are congruent with other aspects of character, no reason to keep reading this book. less
