review 1: I have been fascinated with Flight 1549 ever since it happened, as I am sure a lot of people are/were. Capt. Sully does a great job depicting the accident from his point of view, not to mention his life. It was great learning about his first flight in a crop duster, to him going to the Air Force Academy, to the events during and after the accident. I definitely recommend this book to any aviation enthusiast.
review 2: What do you think your biography would read like? I think it would read a lot like this biography. Most of the time I was reading I would ask myself, why am I reading this. Oh yeah, it is because of the landing of the plane in the river. This event is included, but it is at the end of the book. I keep trying not to say his life isn't worth
... more reading about, because I am sure every life has a great story to tell. I tell stories of things that have happened to me…. (imagine me trailing off to mumbling about something you can't understand and don't care to) Anyhoo, the brutal truth is that I didn't really care for the book, I guess I expected something more. less
