And when Lauren Cunningham’s no-good ex-husband comes after her for an unexpected trust fund, Ty steps in to protect her. But soon he can’t help but think of her as more than a client. Lauren’s in no mood to jump into another relationship, so how can Ty convince her that her mistake wasn’t getting married, but marrying the wrong guy?

Review:

I’d been looking forward to reading Seducing Lauren ever since I finished book one Loving Cara, I’ve been unable to read it until now (thanks to my aunt who got me an Amazon Gift Card for Christmas).

I have read most of Kristen Proby’s books and she has never disappointed me, this book was no exception, this was fantastic. I adore her writing style, there is just something about her writing that just draws you into the story in a way that you don’t want to stop until you finish the book.

One of the major things I like her books is how she incorporates her characters into her books, whether if it’s characters from the same series, or from one of her others. It’s also fun seeing references and characters from her other series. In this book, there is a reference from her With Me in Seattle series where they were talking about another one of her characters. These references or appearances always give me something to look forward to while reading another one of her books.

Like with most of her books I love both characters, they are absolutely wonderful. I loved Lo, I thought it was amazing that she was an author of popular books that are being turned into movies, I’ve read books where there was a character who were avid readers but an author was new for me. Ty was also an amazing character, he was so sweet and he did everything he could to help Lo, and  you can tell he deeply cares for her romance between Lo and Ty is so sweet, I love that he’s not only proud of her for her books, but he supports her in it, he grounds her in a way. I feel like he stops her from getting too lost in her writing by distracting her, making her take a day off, and sometimes brings or makes her food, or if he’s not there having it delivered.

This series has gotten even better in book two, this gives me hope for book two, especially because Jillian and Zack are the characters that I was most excited for since they were introduced in book one. I’m excited to read the final book in the series and I’m also planning on reading the novella that comes after this book.
