Military events/news are listed below by the governorates:
Aleppo:
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham seized control of a grain mill belonging to the Syrian Interim Government in the village of Batabo, western Aleppo. Syrian Salvation Government instructed the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham to seize the mill. The mill was used by several local councils and contains around 200 tons of wheat, 50 tons of flour, and 25 tons of bran in the storage.
Idlib:
Syrian Arab Army captured Suruj, Adliyah, Wuraydah, Karratin Saghirah, Karratin Kabirah, Rubayah, Tell Uwaijah, Rasm Hamidah, Al-Uwaijah, Istablat, Al-Khuraybah, and Al-Jabiriyah from the rebel forces in the southern Idlib. Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s Ibaa News Agency reported destruction of Syrian Arab Army’s vehicle carrying elements with an anti-tank guided missile in the newly-captured village of Istablat.
Hama:
Syrian Arab Army captured Al-Shakusiyah and Al-Rahjan from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Turkistan Islamic Party in the eastern Hama. Syrian Arab Army also captured Umm Sahrij from the Islamic State in the same region.
Islamic State exploited recent Syrian Arab Army’s advances against the rebel forces towards Abu al-Duhur airbase, by capturing over a dozen of villages from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which decided to withdraw from the area in order not to get besieged. Islamic State captured Qasr ibn Wardan, Jubb al-Othman, Jubb al-Raman, Museida, Tarfawi, Abla, Aba al-Qana, Jubb al-Safa, Tell al-Halawa, Rasm al-Tayna, Tellayl al-Humur, Mudahi, Rasm al-Anz, and Al-Khayriyah.
Ahrar al-Sham destroyed Syrian Arab Army’s T-72 tank with an anti-tank guided missile on Maan front in the northern Hama.

Deir al-Zour:
Islamic State’s Amaq Agency released statements regarding the clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces and Islamic State in the city of Gharanij. According to the Amaq Agency, 20 Syrian Democratic Forces’ elements were killed and four captured during the clashes in Gharanij.
Left over Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed two civilians in Al-Muzahir neighborhood of Al-Kushkiyah in the eastern Deir al-Zour. Similarly, Islamic State’s improvised explosive device killed a civilian in Abu Hammam.
Damascus:
Syrian Arab Army’s artillery and Syrian Arab Air Force targeted Jobar, Kafr Batna, Ain Terma, Harasta, Saqba, Douma, and Hammouriyah in the East Ghouta. According to the Syrian Civil Defense (The White Helmets), eight civilians were killed by the targeting of Hammouriyah, while three civilians were reportedly killed in Douma.
Rebel forces from the East Ghouta shelled the city of Damascus and its surroundings. According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the shelling of Al-Shagour area killed one and wounded five civilians. The shelling of Bab Touma and Al-Qassaa neighborhoods resulted in killing of two and injury of 14 civilians.
Last night, Israeli Air Force targeted Syrian Arab Army’s military installations near Al-Qutayfah from the Lebanese airspace. Syrian Arab Army’s General Command stated that the Syrian air defenses intercepted the missiles and responded with a surface-to-air missile which allegedly damaged the Israeli jet that conducted the raid. Israel Defense Forces then launched two surface-to-surface missiles from the Israel-held Golan Heights, which were again reportedly intercepted by the Syrian air defenses. Israeli Air Force targeted the military installations again, with Syrian air defenses intercepting majority of the missiles. General Command said that the missiles that reached the military installations only caused minor material damage.
IraqKirkuk:
Al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Units) killed Islamic State’s mufti of Kirkuk governorate, Abdul Qader al-Azzi along with three other Islamic State’s elements in Daquq subdistrict.
AfghanistanKunduz Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) repelled Afghan National Army’s attack in Khan Abad district.
Baghlan Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed Afghan National Army’s infantry in Puli Khumri district, killing two soldiers. Similarly, Afghan National Army’s soldier was killed when the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan raided a checkpoint in Nahrin district.
Kunar Province:
Afghan National Security Forces killed five fighters of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and destroyed an ammunition cache in the province.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan raided Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Marawara district, wounding one soldier.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed Afghan National Army’s tank in Sirkani district.
Kapisa Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan National Army in Tagab district.
Nangarhar Province:
Afghan National Security Forces killed an element of the Islamic State in Achin district.

Maidan Wardak Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device destroyed Afghan National Army’s tank in Saydabad district.
Paktia Province:
Afghan National Security Forces killed eight and wounded four fighters of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Ahmadabad district.
Khost Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s improvised explosive device targeted Afghan National Army’s tank in Mandozayi district, killing six soldiers.
Herat Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s sniper killed an element of the Afghan National Army and wounded another one in Qanadi area.
Ghazni Province:
Afghan National Security Forces conducted operations against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Waghaz district, killing 13 and wounding seven fighters of the group. Furthermore, one vehicle, four motorcycles, and a weapons depot were also destroyed in the operations.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Afghan National Army clashed for several hours in the city of Ghazni, as the latter attempted to advance against the former. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, six soldiers were killed, eight wounded, and two tanks destroyed in the failed attempt.
Urozgan Province:
Afghan National Security Forces killed 18 and wounded ten fighters of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the city of Tarinkot, capital of Urozgan Province. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan reported it repelled ANSF‘s attacks on Landi Kusi and Kotwalo areas of the city of Tarinkot, killing and wounding 25 elements in the process. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, two fighters were killed and two wounded during the clashes.
Zabul Province:
Afghan National Security Forces conducted operations against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Arghandab, Naw Bahar, and Shamulzayi district, killing a suicide bomber and two IED experts from Pakistan. Furthermore, a VBIED was also destroyed in the operations.
Helmand Province:
Afghan National Security Forces killed five fighters of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in the province. Furthermore, two Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s bases and 80 kilograms (176 pounds) of explosive materials were destroyed
Afghan National Police’s vehicle was ambushed by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and then destroyed by IEA‘s improvised explosive device in Kochyano area of Nad Ali district. The explosion reportedly killed six policemen.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ambushed Afghan Local Police’s elements in Haji Abdul Aziz area of Jerash district, destroying a vehicle and killing one policemen.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s snipers targeted Afghan National Army’s checkpoint in Loy Bagh area of Jerash district, killing and wounding six soldiers.
Afghan National Police’s element defected to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Haidar Abad area. The defected element handed over an assault rifle to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Kandahar Province:
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan captured Afghan Local Police’s checkpoint in Talo Khan area of Panjwayi district, killing nine policemen in the process and forcing the remaining elements to retreat from the checkpoint. According to the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, only one element was wounded in the attack on the checkpoint. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan also destroyed a vehicle and seized two PK machine guns, a light machine gun and six assault rifles.
CJTF-OIR:CJTF-OIR announced a change in their publishing policy. Now two strikes reports will be published each week, on Mondays and Fridays.
Egypt:
Islamic State assassinated an alleged spy working for the Egyptian Army in Al-Safa neighborhood of the city of Rafah, North Sinai Governorate.
