review 1: India. 1. Cricket 2. Politics 3. ReligionWhen someone talks on these together in the same book, it's obviously got to be a little more connected than this. According to me, these just look like five events written together in bits and pieces and connected with a very thin string. The connectivity between the characters and stories is not very strong in my opinion. Looks more like a movie story made especially for a bollywood movie than one for reading purpose. Ofcourse , the book definitely is worth reading for an overnight journey. And after reading 2 states first and then this, I felt a lot disappointed with the script. I want to give a 2.5 but goodreads doesn't allow and I don't feel it worth a 3.And btw Chetan, gmail doesn't allow underscores (_) in their email addr... moreess. Hope you would have realised that by now.
review 2: A good read by Chetan Bhagat. Interesting story about three friends, with high ambitions and passion about cricket. This story takes turns at many points and outcomes many emotions, anger, love, tragedy. I love the way author connects real life tragedies with his story and his characters. The end was not up to the mark of the book as it becomes more dramatic and less realistic. Still, you cannot leave this book in between as Chetan Bhagat's writing skills and humorous one liners will force you to read this book till end. less
