review 1: I just couldn't finish this book. I had to give up after 40 pages. The lack of creativity in both the plot and language is vulgar. The characters also seem one dimensional and unintentionally sexist. I am not sure if this writer has ever read a decent book in his life. After being battered by his collection of essays, I have no zeal left in me to finish this humdrum. I think what particularly infuriated me about this book is also its biggest selling point - lack of a challenge to the reader. Quite frankly, I want to rate this book no more than zero star but the least you can award here on goodreads is one star. review 2: A simple story......a girl and boy from 2 different states falls in love ...Convinces the families,and get married.Okay lets see this in anoth... moreer view,the main theme of the story is making the families accept Each other.When One family Sees intellect as the measuring scale for other its th luXuries of the life thEy could afford.. But the twists and turns that comes between this is what makes the intresting.One twist really made me awestruck.The concept author adopted that not only boy and girl should like each but also their families to like each other was really brilliant and it do really eXist in most part of the india.And also I liked the way author presented the story over 300 pages.His simple narration and language is what got me hooked up. less
