review 1: A fast paced crime mystery. Rob an heating engineer is called out to repair a faulty boiler. There he meets Lena who asks him to take her on a bike ride. Unfortunately they have an accident, Rob is taken to hospital but no one has seen Lena, she has disappeared and no-one believes she existed. This combined with the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Rob's sister prompts an unbelievable run of events.
review 2: I have not read this character before, nor have I read more than one book by the author, but this guy is promising--if you are a murder mystery fan (it is a particular genre, and not one that has the same standards as other genres in my mind). There is some intrigue in this one, where the main character is looking for a missing girl, but ... morehe also has a sister who recently died--or did she--and how did it happen? There is a lot of plot twisting, but it is well done. recommended. less
