review 1: I want to live in this world! The colors are so attractive, and the pictures are awesome! The story has some great repetition, and there are some fun movements that would be good for interaction with the storytime audience ("My mommy has BIG EYES. Like THIS!"). There's a lot of emotion conveyed through facial expressions in the bold illustrations. This is one that will be enjoyed by parents and children both! ... mored his way home. This was a charming and colorful take on the help-me-find-my-mommy story. The art is modern but feels classic, and the characters are fun and pretty funny. There's humor and heart, even in such a simple and short story, and it even humorously points out the importance of details when you're trying to figure things out. And, of course, no one can argue with Squirrel's uttered truth, "Cookies are our favorite thing." less
