review 2: Fantastic use of color and a minimal, repetitive text. It proceeds in shades of blue, purple, and black, except for the bright bird that the four c... moreharacters follow. A gentle beam of blue light shines down each time the bird is pictured, and the four figures repeat their sneak attack on the bird, comically unsuccessful each time. The littlest one takes no part except for his repeated, "hello, birdie." Great pacing and page turns, with a fun twist as the tables are turned and the hunt abandoned. Until, "Look! A squirrel" (and the endpapers nicely mirror the story - first birds, then squirrels). Delightful. less
