review 1: Sorcerers and Seers was an amazing book. I loved the characters a lot and how much you get to know them. It is really cool hearing all the different points of view, and I love how it switches to a different person each chapter. The book has a lot of suspenseful moments that make you want to keep turning the pages. There was some super sad parts too, and you really can feel all the characters' sorrow when they happen. Stephanie is one of my favorite characters, because she is so athletic and competitive. She can never let a boy beat her in anything, and she certainly can't fall in love with one, which is what starts to happen, even though she doesn't want it to.
review 2: Very fun read. The continuation of this story through all these novels is so enjoyable. I... more suppose the thing I took away from reading this book was wondering why I should feel so special that I shouldn't have to endure trials. God allows hardships in this life. Just possibly I need to remind myself that they can be a challenge instead of a handicap. Where has my faith gone? It's not a simple question to be answered without a paradigm shift. There's a lot of work to do. less
