review 1: I enjoyed this book. It might be true that you should be a WoW player to enjoy it, I'm not sure. All I know is that I pictured the scenes of the familiar animated lands and faces as I read- and even heard portions of the WoW soundtrack in my head along the way.I am determined to read all of the WoW novels to give myself a better game experience. I wasn't disappointed in this book. It wasn't Tolkien, but it was still my beloved Azeroth.It's also a *very* quick read.
review 2: This book, while short, did not lack the grandeur that those of longer length may have. It was an incredible story that gave you a more in depth explanation of Tirion Fordring's life than was given to you by the MMORPG, World of Warcraft. The characters had much depth, and the reader wi... morell likely find them self loving certain characters and hoping they succeed, and hating others. The theme of honor was also interestingly explored, creating a perspective which one might not expect to have. All in all, this was an incredible book, which every Warcraft lore-lover should read. less
