review 1: I did not know who Selena was while she was alive,the first time I have heard about her was in the movie Selena with Jennifer Lopez portraying her. I loved the movie and I was more interested to find out about Selena and her music. She seemed like a very lovely person and a great singer. Such a tragedy that her life was cut short. I really enjoyed this book as it gave us a glimpse of her life with her husband Chris Perez, and I truly believe that he loved her very much. Again, I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is a fan of Selena.
review 2: I loved this book. It give the details about Chris and Selena personal life that we did not know about. It was all about there love and there ups and downs and how they fought to stay together even though Se... morelena dad Abraham did not want them together. Chris showed the family that he truly loved and cared about Selena and it wasn't about the money he truly loved her. It was so hard to read at the end because he talked about her death. I cried it was so heartfelt and devastating. I would recommend this book to fans of Selena less

I grew up listening to Selena's music and remember the day she was murdered. It's always sad when someone so young and so talented is taken too soon. I've avoided this book for awhile, but truly enjoyed the behind the scenes look into her life. Chris sounds a little arrogant at times and comes off as being hatefol towards her family. Im curious what their relationship is now. I think Selena probably was a great person inside and out, but over looked the evil beside her.
