review 1: I will now remember that Ferris wheels are effective hiding spots for the zombie apocalypse. This is a good book if you are simply looking for a quick read that you can quickly move past. I was genuinely pulled into the plot at times, but for the most part I was skimming quickly to get past rather insipid sections. On another note, the characters and their relationships were developed rapidly to the point that they were not believable. Despite this all, I appreciated the fast read and the meager entertainment it gave me, but I will not be re-reading or even continuing the series.
review 2: This was a very fast paced read. There was numerous realistic descriptions and a lot of action packed into this book. However, since this book was released in 2013 I would ha... moreve at least expected this book to have updated the zombies. I just could not relate to the fact that all the zombies were green. I am not sure if the author did not know how to describe a zombie therefore just said it was green or if the author actually wanted the zombies green. Either way I will be reading the next book and looking foreword to what happens next. less
